Job Description

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Strategic Leadership and Operations

  • Lead the development and of operational strategies across multiple sites to enhance production efficiency and throughput.
  • Oversee capacity planning and ensure alignment with revenue growth projections optimizing resource allocation across facilities.
  • Implement a continuous improvement framework to standardize workflows reduce variability and improve operational consistency.
  • Foster a resultsdriven culture of innovation management encouraging new ideas and implementing solutions to meet evolving business challenges.

Safety Health and Environmental Compliance (QSHE)

  • Champion safetyfirst operations by leading daily safety huddles implementing best practices and ensuring adherence to QSHE standards.
  • Develop and oversee safety training programs incident reporting root cause analysis and corrective action plans to achieve zeroloss time incidents.
  • Conduct comprehensive regulatory audits and inspections to ensure compliance with OSHA EPA and local regulations.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to integrate waste management and sustainability practices into daily operations.

Financial Management and Cost Optimization

  • Drive cost reduction strategies through waste elimination improved asset utilization and operational efficiency programs.
  • Manage annual budgets forecasts and CAPEX projects with a focus on financial discipline and ROIdriven initiatives.
  • Implement inventory reduction programs using tools like Kanban pull systems and demanddriven inventory optimization.
  • Identify opportunities for logistics savings through route optimization internal fleet utilization and vendor partnerships.

Customer Satisfaction and Quality Control

  • Oversee the deployment of quality control systems to ensure accuracy compliance and continuous customer satisfaction.
  • Lead initiatives to reduce production lead times and enhance ontime delivery rates driving customer loyalty and retention.
  • Implement feedback loops to collect and act on customer insights ensuring operational processes align with service level agreements (SLAs).

Team Development and Engagement

  • Build and mentor a highperforming operations team promoting leadership development and succession planning.
  • Drive employee engagement through targeted development programs fostering a culture of accountability and continuous learning.
  • Implement crossfunctional teamwork practices to streamline communication and collaboration across supply chain production and QSHE teams.

Technology Integration and Process Innovation

  • Spearhead the digital transformation of operations including the advancement of warehouse management system (WMS) functionality and advanced analytics tools.
  • Integrate data analytics and business intelligence into decisionmaking processes enabling improved demand forecasting inventory control and operational visibility.
  • Lead process automation initiatives to streamline production workflows minimize manual effort and drive productivity gains.

Crisis Management and Emergency Response

  • Develop and implement Incident Command System (ICS) protocols for crisis management and emergency preparedness.
  • Oversee the creation of comprehensive business continuity plans to mitigate risk and ensure operational resilience.
  • Lead the response to hazardous material incidents ensuring compliance with environmental and safety regulations.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering Operations Management or related field.
  • 15 years of leadership experience in multisite operations supply chain management and facilities leadership with proven QSHE expertise.
  • Extensive experience driving lean manufacturing principles including 5S SMED value stream mapping (VSM) and pull/flow systems.
  • Demonstrated success in logistics optimization and reducing costs while improving throughput and delivery efficiency.
  • Strong safety leadership with a history of maintaining zeroloss time incidents and fostering a safetyfirst culture.
  • Proficiency in digital tools such as WMS MRP systems and business intelligence platforms.
  • Proven ability to lead CAPEX projects including greenfield facility startups and largescale process improvements.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English is required.
