Why this role
Were on the hunt for a passionate trendled and seasoned Menswear Assistant Buyer to join our team in Market Harborough focusing solely on Menswear. With our stunning new range The Set already launched were looking for an Assistant Buyer who has the vision and drive to take it to the next level

What Youll Be Doing:

Range Development: Assist in creating a commercially successful collection aligned with The Sets bold vision.

Fit & Quality Excellence: Supporting in fit sessions ensure garments meet quality standards and assist with lab dip and strikeoff approval process ensuring consistency and alignment with brand standards. Support with the progression and development of items through meticulous oversight ensuring all color and material standards are met before production.

Supplier Collaboration: Communicate clearly and effectively with suppliers ensuring smooth processes and timely deliveries.

Cost Negotiation: Work with suppliers to achieve competitive costs and meet key performance indicators.

DataDriven Decisions: Analyse sales and trends to identify new opportunities and shape future collections.

Sample Management: Coordinate samples for meetings photoshoots and other key stages in the product lifecycle.

Team collaboration with other divisions / marketing etc (expand on this but not junior level stuff alter this)


About you
Menswear experience is a must! We are looking for someone with vast experience of working within Menswear at Assistant level who can demonstrate the following:

Trend Awareness: A sharp eye for trends and whats next in fashion.
Own Label Expertise: Proven experience in assisting with developing unique and compelling ownlabel designs.
DetailOriented Approach: Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Entrepreneurial Spirit: A proactive mindset ready to innovate and problemsolve in a fastpaced environment.
