Systems Engineer (Sys Integr Ver & Validation)

Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a Systems Engineer (Sys Integr Ver & Validation) to join our Government Training Engineering team in support of Mobility Surveillance & Bombers programs in Oklahoma City Oklahoma.This role will focus on the test and verification activities for ground and training systems in support of E3 AWACS E7 Wedgetail B52 Bomber and KC46 Tanker programs.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Applies an interdisciplinary collaborative approach to plan design develop and verify system and subsystem requirements.
  • Works with team leads to develop system test plans and create requirement verification links to test procedures in DOORS and CAMEO.
  • Assists with development testing and updating of test procedures to support software system and acceptance testing.
  • Supports of Qualification Tests with and without external customer participation.
  • Creates and submits work orders and gathers evidence of compliance for requirement verification.
  • Works with multidisciplinary team to track progress of system development and availability to support test activities.

This position is expected to be 100 onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Oklahoma City OK.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology) chemistry physics mathematics data science or computer science
  • 1 years of experience developing and executing test plans and procedures
  • Ability to travel 1020 of the time

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience with training systems and simulators
  • Experience with hardware/software integration
  • Experience with military aircraft and subsystems (e.g. sensors mission computer weapons etc.
  • Experience with software development and/or troubleshooting software
  • Knowledge of JIRA GIT and other work management software

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance PostStart is required. This position requires ability to obtain program access for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship only.
