The Royal College partners and collaborates to lead the evolution of specialty medical education and standards; support specialist physicians learners and teams to continuously improve; and advocate for excellence in specialty medicine by supporting innovation wellbeing equity and personcentered care. We are a national nonprofit organization established in 1929 by a special Act of Parliament to oversee the medical education of specialists in Canada.
Reporting to the Executive Director of the Office of Learning and Connecting and working closely with the Associate Director Learning Strategy the Principal CPD Strategist is a thought leader in medical education and contributes to policies programs frameworks and offerings of Royal College learning across the continuum. Collaboratively with leadership the Principal CPD Strategist contributes to the quality and evolution of Royal Colleges lifelong learning strategy (including member engagement) setting of standards and learning frameworks research and scholarships and partnerships.
Through insights gained in connections with members and partners as well as lived experience in the specialist healthcare system the Principal CPD Strategist will provide expertise to leadership on current and future learning trends and needs impacting the design of learning frameworks policies programs and offerings at Royal College. The Principal CPD Strategist will complement and collaborate with the Learning team to continuously enhance the Royal Colleges learning program/offering to be responsive to members while also meeting the needs of partners in the broader specialist healthcare system. The Principal CPD Strategist will represent the Royal College and its learning initiatives to strengthen the Royal Colleges connection with members and the CPD system by establishing and maintaining alliances partnerships linkages collaborations and communications with interest holders key opinion leaders and system leaders in the medical education system in Canada and abroad. The Principal CPD Strategist will provide content expertise related to learning including formal and informal discussions amongst clinician educators physician advisors and Royal College employees to strengthen approaches to CPD/learning.

Vous relverez du directeur excutif Bureau de lducation et du rseautage et travaillerez en troite collaboration avec la directrice associe Stratgie dapprentissage. Vous jouerez un rle de leader dopinion en formation mdicale et contribuerez aux politiques aux programmes aux cadres et aux activits dapprentissage du Collgeroyal tout au long du continuum. En collaboration avec la haute direction vous contribuerez la qualit et lvolution de la stratgie dapprentissage vie du Collgeroyal (ce qui implique la mobilisation des membres) ltablissement de normes et de cadres dapprentissage la recherche lrudition et aux partenariats.
Grce aux connaissances acquises auprs des membres et des partenaires et votre exprience du systme de soins de sant spcialiss vous fournirez une expertise la haute direction sur les tendances et les besoins actuels et futurs en matire dapprentissage qui ont une incidence sur la conception de cadres de politiques de programmes et doffres dapprentissage au Collgeroyal. Vous complterez lquipe dapprentissage et collaborerez avec elle afin damliorer continuellement le programme / loffre dapprentissage du Collgeroyal visant rpondre aux besoins des membres et des partenaires du systme de soins de sant spcialiss. Vous reprsenterez le Collgeroyal et ses initiatives dapprentissage afin de renforcer les liens du Collgeroyal avec ses membres et le systme de DPC en tablissant et en maintenant des alliances des partenariats des liens des collaborations et des communications avec les parties intresses les leaders dopinion cls et les chefs de file du systme de formation mdicale au Canada et ltranger. Vous fournirez une expertise en matire de contenu li lapprentissage et animerez des discussions formelles et informelles entre les ducatrices et ducateurs cliniciens les mdecinsconseils et le personnel du Collgeroyal afin de renforcer les approches en matire de DPC et dapprentissage.
