As Competitor Analysis Electrical Characterization Engineers at Micron we are an integral part of Microns ground breaking Technology & Products Group. We are responsible for researching organizing and conducting reverse engineering projects to support Microns development of nextgeneration memory technologies. In this role you will focus on extracting critical electrical competitive benchmarking data from the semiconductor industrys most sophisticated and innovative memory technologies. You will collaborate with diverse teams including Technology Development Design Manufacturing Product Engineering and Legal.
Responsibilities:
- Collecting endurance and performance data from competitor NAND Flash products
- Developing and deploying new testing solutions for competitor NAND Flash components
- Die level micoprobing of competitor NAND Flash products (including sample prep probe setup waveform collection and data analysis)
- Continuous collaboration with Design Engineering and Technology Development cell characterization teams
- Combining hard data and market intelligence to create projections of future competitive benchmarks
Minimum Qualifications:
- BS or MS or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering Computer Engineering Materials Science or a related subject area
- Demonstrated ability in the semiconductor industry preferred
- 2 year of experience in NAND engineering preferred
- Strong foundation in coding with Python and Perl
Preferred Qualifications:
- Practical knowledge of die level microprobing techniques
- Knowledge of NAND Flash operation and internal waveforms is highly beneficial
- High attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in both individual and teambased work environments
- Strong communication and organizational skills
