Job Description

Early Childhood Teacher (Part time)

About the role

What were looking for

We are looking for applicants who are motivated nurturing and enthusiastic professionals dedicated to being part of a collaborative and supportive team fostering wellbeing advocacy and excellence.

As a valued member of the Childrens Services team our ideal candidate will be skilled qualified and have the ability to demonstrate:

  • thorough knowledge of the needs of young children the community families and the principles of early childhood education.
  • an ability to deliver and embed the National Quality Standards into programming witha commitment to best practice.
  • experience in developing and implementing developmentally appropriate programs for 35 yearold children.
  • excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • have current knowledge and understanding of the Child Safe Standards (CCYP) Information Sharing and MARAM reforms
  • Early Childhood Teaching Qualification as approved by ACECQA and recognised under the National Law.

Mitchell Shire employees are supported to engage in ongoing professional development. Kindergarten education teams receive additional programs and supports through the School Readiness Funding (SRF) menu items and our innovative management support structure to enhance the learning and development of our teams children and kindergarten community.

Salaries are prorata and dependent on qualifications and experience as per the Early Education Employees Agreement 2020 (EEEA).
