As the Director / Senior Director Commercial HVAC Business Development you will play a key role in driving the growth and expansion of industry leading Commercial HVAC solutions portfolio with specific focus on markets such as Datacenter Battery Energy Storage Dehumidification and Electrified Heating. You will be responsible for developing and executing strategic initiatives to drive revenue growth enhance customer satisfaction expand market presence and establish broader relationships across the key endusers consulting & specifying engineers property owners/operators facility maintenance managers key decision makers etc. Leveraging your deep understanding of these new rapidly growing industry and market trends you will identify new business opportunities cultivate strategic partnerships and drive the development of innovative solutions to meet the evolving needs of the industry.

This position could report out of: Sidney OH or St. Louis Missouri.

As the Director / Senior Director Commercial HVAC Business Development you will:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to drive revenue growth and market expansion for products and services

  • Identify new business opportunities and market trends and develop strategies to capitalize on them effectively

  • Build and maintain strategic partnerships with key stakeholders including technology vendors channel partners and industry organizations

  • Engage crossfunctional teams to develop innovative solutions tailored to meet the unique requirements of the industry

  • Collaborate with sales marketing and product development teams to develop compelling value propositions and gotomarket strategies

  • Drive the development of marketing collateral sales presentations and other materials to support business development efforts

  • Monitor and analyze market trends competitive activity and customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key clients ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention

Required education experiences & skills:

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering Business Administration Marketing or a related field

  • Proven track record of success in driving business development initiatives within the Commercial HVAC industry

  • Deep understanding of technologies services and market dynamics of focused end markets

  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to translate market insights into actionable strategies

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and influence key stakeholders at all levels

  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to inspire and motivate crossfunctional teams to achieve common goals

  • Highly organized and detailoriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines

  • Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze financial data develop business cases and drive revenue growth

  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fastpaced dynamic environment with a strong sense of urgency and initiative

Preferred education experiences & skills:

  • Masters degree preferred

  • Professional certifications (e.g. MBA PMP) and industry certifications (e.g. CCIE CDCP)

Collaboration First Hybrid Work Arrangements:

This role is hybrid eligible with the requirement to be in office at least three days per week. Colleagues are expected to demonstrate a collaboration first mindset which is the understanding that teams will work together inperson and colleagues should be flexible to adjust their hybrid days based on business needs. You will have an opportunity to work with your team and leader to determine when you should be in office to drive meaningful connections and to best serve our customers.
