Hire Resolves client a leading global withholding recovery company operating in over 35 offices across Europe Asia Africa and America is currently seeking a dynamic and selfmotivated Technical Product Owner to join their Johannesburg team.
Responsibilities:
Lead scrum teams by defining product vision roadmap and growth opportunities and communicate with stakeholders throughout the project.
Collaborate with internal and external contacts to analyze needs and align the product roadmap with strategic goals.
Act as the product ambassador internally and externally sharing knowledge and addressing questions related to the product including conducting demos and training sessions.
Research new feature requirements and technical specifications while managing the UX and UI process.
Develop and take ownership of components of the technology product roadmap including platforms like Salesforce and Microservices.
Assess manage and prioritize the product backlog using tools such as Jira.
Translate business requirements into a technical agenda for development and deployment to production by engaging with business leaders and subject matter experts.
Manage internal and external development teams to ensure timely delivery of functionality that meets specifications and quality standards.
Provide regular progress reports identify risks and address bottlenecks to the technology steering committee.
Mitigate roadblocks that impact successful team completion of release/sprint goals.
Conduct proofs of concept to demonstrate the value and applicability of new tools and technologies.
Lead design sessions with the development team to select the best technical solutions for business problems.
Foster an Agile culture that promotes continuous and rapid delivery of software features that deliver demonstrable value to the business.
Design develop and implement accurate test plans and participate in user acceptance testing.
Oversee the rollout of new features and coordinate between various business and tech units.
Stay informed about emerging tools technologies and methods that could benefit or create new opportunities for the business.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Engineering Computer Science or a related field or equivalent experience.
Strong competency in business process design and analysis.
At least 5 years of experience managing tech products.
Proven experience in technology project management.
Scrum/Agile training and practical experience are advantageous.
Familiarity with modern cloud technology SaaS products and lowcode platforms is advantageous.
Working knowledge of IT systems fundamentals such as databases and integration patterns is advantageous.
Experience with configuring CRM/ERP systems with a preference for Salesforce experience.
Ability to run and own the product independently with minimal assistance.
Preferably a combination of Engineering and Computer Science experience but not limited to.
