About The Landings
LDK Seniors Livings luxury village The Landings is sprawled over 11.87hectares in North Turramurra on Sydneys upper north shore. The village neighbours the Kuringgai Chase National Park is near Lady Davidson Private Hospital and is a short drive to the North Turramurra golf course bowling club cafes and shops. The Landings comprises 220 architecturally designed one two and three bedroom villas and apartments. LDK creates a true sense of belonging community and vibrancy for residents through a variety of group activities and hospitality events. Onsite facilities include an arts and craft room gymnasium and heated indoor pool. The clubhouse amenities include The Hangar Cafe & Bar a fireplace lounge area a pool room a dedicated theatre space and a 200seat function space.
About The Role
To provide personal care and/or domestic assistance support services to residents as allocated by the Shift Supervisor and/or Village Care Manager.
- Provide quality personal care as requested by the resident and in line with the residents care plan (where documented)
- Respond to emergency call outs in accordance with LDK policies and processes
- Contribute to the development of the residents care plan as required
- Understand and implement individual residents care plans
- Supervise and assist with daily hygiene providing extra assistance for residents with specific physical problems or frailty (e.g. showering shaving nail care dressing toileting)
- Assist with the preparation of food and beverages and feeding residents where required
- Assist with aids (e.g. putting on compression stockings)
- Assist with the administration of medication (if in scope of qualifications and approved by a Registered Nurse)
- General light to medium cleaning duties
- Aid more senior employees in attending to the personal care needs of a resident
- Provision of manual handling to assist residents with daily tasks
- Assist with the delivery of activities to enhance the physical social emotional and intellectual development of residents
- Undertake administrative tasks associated with duties
- Communicate in a professional and customer focused manner appropriate for the audience

Qualifications Experience and Skills
- Certificate III in Individual Support (ageing) (or equivalent qualifications or knowledge skills and experience)
- Current First aid and CPR certification
- Modules equivalent to Module CHCC305C (assist clients with medication) would be highly regarded
- Current Driver License or planning on obtaining an Australian Driver License
- Previous experience working in communitycare / home care packages or aged care would be highly regarded
- Demonstrated experience in a customerfacing role
