The Role
As the Advisor Project and Change Management youll be integral to our work in helping vulnerable children achieve a brighter future. Under the direction of the Sr. Advisor Strategy and Culture you will support departments across USP in managing projects that align with the division and agency strategy. The ideal candidate is an experienced project manager with strong organizational skills and a proven ability to lead crossfunctional teams to achieve project goals. This role requires a proactive approach to problemsolving ensuring projects are delivered on time within scope and within budget. In addition to project management you will drive change initiatives for highimpact projects developing and executing comprehensive change strategies. You will maintain strong stakeholder engagement ensuring key audiences understand the future state benefits impact and deployment methodology of organizational changes.

What Youll Be Doing (Essential Duties)*

Project Management 80
- Plan execute and oversee projects from inception to completion ensuring ontime withinscope and withinbudget delivery.
- Develop detailed project plans timelines milestones and resource allocations.
- Coordinate and lead crossfunctional teams ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Coach and support workstream leads (business SMEs) in driving workstream activities.
- Monitor progress identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Proactively manage issues risks and scope changes.
- Communicate project updates and challenges to stakeholders senior management and USP.
- Conduct postproject evaluations to identify improvements and best practices.
- Foster a positive team environment and a culture of continuous improvement.
- Keep stakeholders informed through status reports updates and meetings.
- Facilitate collaboration between crossfunctional teams.
- Manage sponsor expectations ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Maintain a repository of documentation for each stage of the project lifecycle.
- Manage complex projects spanning multiple states.
- Support project updates and announcements on the USP SharePoint Portal.
Change Management Strategy & Implementation 10
- Develop and implement a Change Management Strategy under the guidance of the Sr. Advisor for Strategy and Culture to accelerate adoption and minimize resistance.
- Ensure a comprehensive view of change impact and interdependencies across projects.
- Support project communications defining roles and responsibilities for internal updates and information sharing.
- Serve as Change Manager for priority projects leading stakeholder analysis readiness assessments and training needs evaluations.
Capacity Building & Continuous Improvement 10
- Contribute to enhancements of project management tools.
- Support staff in Project Management Continuous Improvement and Change Leadership methodologies.
- Assist with agencywide and departmental change strategies as needed.
Required qualifications for the role
- Minimum of a bachelors degree or equivalent experience plus at least 5 years of relevant experience
- Professional proficiency in MS Office suite
- Professional proficiency in spoken and written English
- Demonstrated ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with individuals and teams at all levels both internally and externally
- Demonstrated experience leading complex enterprise projects and handling multiple competing priorities with successful delivery within tight timelines
- Demonstrated success in selfdirected and outcomeoriented initiatives with a strong customer focus and ability to make independent decisions quickly and effectively while determining and considering impact on project
- Demonstrated success in a handson working environment with proven problem solving and planning skills.
Preferred qualificationsfor the role
- Exposure to change management principles and support in the delivery of a major project
Compensation
Save the Children is offering the following salary ranges for this position dependent on candidate location:
- Geo 1 NY Metro DC and other locations with labor costs significantly above national average: Target Salary for this position is $84150 $94050 base salary
- Geo 2 Locations around the US National Labor Cost Average: Target Salary for this position is $76500 $85500 base salary
- Geo 3 Locations significantly below the US National Labor Cost Average: Target Salary for this position is $68850 $76950 base salary
The salary ranges listed above are for US based candidates. For candidates located outside of the US salary ranges will be based on the salary scales of the local employer of record. Actual base salary may vary based on but not limited to relevant experience base salary of internal peers business sector and geographic location (more information on job structure is available here.
