Location: Various locations across Indiana including Evansville Psychiatric Childrens Center Evansville State Hospital Logansport State Hospital Madison State Hospital Richmond State Hospital and the Indianapolis Neurodiagnostic Institute
Employment Type: FullTime
Hourly Rate: $65.00/hr

Position Overview:
The Chief Pharmacist will lead pharmacy operations at a stateoperated hospital ensuring compliance with regulatory standards managing staff and inventory and optimizing medication administration systems. This role requires strategic oversight to maintain a safe efficient and patientcentered environment.

Qualifications:
- Education: Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or equivalent degree.
- Licensure: Active Pharmacist license from the State Pharmacy Board.
- Experience: 5 years in pharmacy management preferably in a hospital or psychiatric environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in automated pharmacy software and inventory systems.
- Soft Skills: Strong policy development and implementation abilities Excellent communication for interdisciplinary collaboration Adaptability to evolving pharmacology trends and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily pharmacy operations including purchasing inventory and budgeting.
- Ensure compliance with federal/state laws Joint Commission standards and safety protocols.
- Supervise and mentor pharmacy staff; optimize automated medication systems.
- Develop policies for medication storage distribution and infection control.
- Maintain accreditation through continuous process improvement.
