Job Description
Summary:
The individual will be responsible for providing both high level and detailed financial analysis of the organization. The Financial Analyst I is the primary liaison between departments to project budgeting modeling and forecasting. The position is responsible for maintaining accurate cost modeling analysis and presenting finds monthly to executives. This position will report to the Senior Financial Analyst.
Responsibilities:
- Work directly with department heads to develop detailed annual budgets and monthly forecast.
- Detailed monthly business unit reporting and analysis.
- Budgeting/Variance Analysis.
- Forecasting.
- Financial modeling.
- Mergers and acquisition experience.
- Research and resolve variances to forecast and budget as a part of each monthly close cycle.
- Ad hoc analysis as required occasionally supporting our Larkspur CA office.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- 0 3 years experience in corporate financial analysis and/or investment banking.
- Ability to interact with senior executives and management team and present information to enable the organization to make the right decision.
- Strong demonstrated analytical skills.
- Detailed oriented able to roll up sleeves and get into every aspect of the business.
- Ability to managemultiple priorities at a time.
- Selfstarter with initiative to identify potential issues and recommend strategies to address same.
- Proficient with advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint.
- Deadline driven.
- Excellent communication and writing skills.

- As needed.
