Job Description
Biological Scientist I
Bachelors degree in biology or a closely related life science field.
Perform laboratory techniques including: cell culture flow cytometry molecular biology (PCR nucleic acid extractions specifically RNA) microscopy. Includes recording research methods and results as well as analyzing and reporting data. May assist PI in providing technical supervision and assistance to students and volunteers.
Conduct preclinical experiments in animal models of brain tumors including: monitoring and care surgical support (intracranial and subcutaneous tumor transplantation) postsurgical monitoring and care health evaluation and surveillance giving injections (intravenous subcutaneous intraperitoneal etc. removing sutures maintaining procedures and protocols collecting biological samples (blood tissues etc. and maintaining laboratory records.

Bachelors degree in biology or a closely related life science field.
- Experience with mammalian cell culture especially of T cells.
- Experience with ELISA flow cytometry fluorescent imaging and animal procedures including injections and surgeries.
- At Least one year of lab experience is preferred.
