The Boeing CompanyBoeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a Materials Management and Transportation Manager (Level K) to join the Skin and Spar Fabrication team. The position will manage the Supply Chain Management Analysts (SCMA) team in Frederickson and Auburn WA.
The Materials Management and Transportation Manager will lead a team supporting both enterprise level initiatives and implementing high visibility supply chain focused projects develops and executes integrated organizational plans and solutions to enable business objectives.
This role requires partnership with leaders across the enterprise. This position will discover new opportunities and solutions for business problems by looking beyond current practices and using innovative thinking. You will blend strategic thinking with ontheground enabling the organizations to improve systems business policies processes standard work and efficiencies to operate as One Boeing Supply Chain.
The successful candidate is someone who can join and lead teams understand the strategic aspect of the organization and associated initiatives work in a complex organization and can demonstrate their knowledge of the company and multiple functional subject areas to meet supply chain management goals and our internal and external customers expectations. Candidates must be able to translate strategic goals into tactical actions that are understandable to the team.
Position Responsibilities:

- Integrate and collaborate across the Supply Chain function

- Identify and leverage best practices from both within and outside the enterprise improvement in everything we do

- Develop and execute project and process plans implement policies and procedures and set operational goals
- Acquire resources for projects and processes provide technical management of supply chain processes and/or suppliers
- Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers stakeholders peers partners and direct reports
- Work with the Supply Chain Management Analysts to ensure data integrity within ERPLN and other business systems
- Create a culture that models the leadership attributes
- Monitor KPIs and metrics and solve performance gaps
- Focus on BPS compliance and safety
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
- 3 years of experience working in a Supply Chain or a Manufacturing environment
- 3 years of experience in strategic thinking and leadership skills
- 3 years of experience leading or managing projects that involved crossfunctional or crossbusiness unit teams
- Must be able to work variable shifts; including days evenings nights and weekends
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Bachelors degree or higher
