We are currently seeking a Plant Logistics Manager to join our team in Benson MN. In this role you will be responsible for the internal plant logistics and material flow master scheduling materials buying/ planning inventory management and control and materials strategy. This position is a key enabler of lean and continuous improvement activities in the plant.
Responsibilities
- Oversee Lead scheduling procurement Inventory Control Inbound logistics and purchased part material planning.
- Works closely with Plant Management to help develop and implement processes that improve our inventory processes that include major reductions in inventory while improving internal / external delivery performance.
- Oversee Shipment of requested Repair parts division as well as shipment of CNH parts to various company sister plants.
The annual salary for this role is $133875 $178500 (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors such as skill experience and qualification for the role.
Qualifications
The qualified candidate will have:
- Bachelors degree
- 5 or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment that has embraced /Lean concepts MRP manufacturing practices and progressive supplier relationships.
- 3 or more years of managerial experience focusing on talent development standardizing planning and process improvement.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelors degree in Business Supply Chain Management Logistics or Engineering disciplines strongly preferred.
- APICS certification in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) highly desirable.
- Considerable experience with SAP
- Indepth knowledge of computerized integrated information systems (manufacturing materials management production planning procurement and distribution.
- Experience with visual management systems.
- Be a proactive change agent and possess leadership skills to build and maintain a team oriented environment while leveraging WCM/Lean Methodologies.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Provide dedicated support of internal customer requirements.
- Possess highlevel organizational skills with the ability to work multiple priorities at once.
