What youll be responsible for:
As the Senior Director of Product for Customer Journey you will be responsible for the endtoend product strategy and roadmap for a team that spans the customer lifecycle. Youll be at the forefront of transforming critical customer and internal workflows using AIpowered capabilities that reduce friction drive scale and improve the quality of decisionmaking. You will contribute to driving Circles platform strategy to simplify automate and enhance the customer experience while also enabling operational scale through internal tooling selfservice capabilities and AIpowered solutions.
This role will be central to Circles strategy of becoming an AIfirst platform. Youll guide your team in building modular selfservice infrastructure and intelligent tools that empower internal teams and deliver exceptional experiences for customers. Working crossfunctionally with Engineering Compliance Care Sales Marketing and other Product teams youll ensure our platform evolves to meet the needs of a growing global customer base while maintaining the highest standards of compliance reliability and user trust
You will lead a team of highperforming product managers and partner deeply with Engineering Compliance Business Marketing Customer Care Legal and other Product teams to design a composable platform that supports strategic growth initiatives and delivers a seamless experience for Circles global customer base. As a senior leader you will ensure alignment across stakeholders define clear success metrics and advocate for a customerobsessed mindset at all levels of the organization.
What youll work on:
Lead the evolution of customer onboarding into an AIfirst modular experience that reduces friction and improves conversion including the development of prequalification tools guided application flows and AIassisted due diligence.
Leverage AI to improve operational efficiency and decisionmaking across workflows like onboarding application reviews and customer escalations.
Define and execute the vision and roadmap for the Customer Journey team spanning onboarding internal tooling customer data systems and third party vendor solutions.
Build and scale internal tooling used by Customer Support Compliance Finance Ops and other teams with a focus on automation selfservice and operational efficiency.
Collaborate across functions to ensure Circles AIdriven platform meets global regulatory requirements while improving customer and team efficiency.
Partner with Engineering to deliver a composable platform architecture that supports Circles market expansion into new geographies products and customer segments.
Hire and grow a global team of product managers for Compliance and Risk Platform.
Build deep relationships and create strategic alliances to establish trust with key stakeholders across legal risk compliance engineering product etc. to accelerate delivery of risk and compliance initiatives.
Partner with all key stakeholders to define the product requirements develop insights and write detailed user stories to deliver features and functionality to scale Circles risk and compliance functions.
Participate in all aspects of the development life cycle from definition through deployment and support to ensure that timely advice and risk and compliance consultation is provided as necessary.
Communicate product status metrics goals and performance clearly to internal stakeholders throughout the organization including impacted teams
What youll bring to Circle:
15 years of relevant experience in implementing KYC AML or Sanctions technologies in scaled companies including leading programs for Fintech or crypto businesses. Compliance policy product or engineering experience in either banking consulting or cryptocurrency required.
10 years in executive managerial or people leadership capacities or equivalent entrepreneurship roles.
Experience in RegTech or Fintech companies is preferred. You are a creative product mind an avid problem solver and a highly collaborative team member.
You have experience designing risk and compliance operational workflows and deeply understand the expected rigor required in our operations.
You are a selfstarter and fastmoving when it comes to putting plans into motion you dont need to work from a script.
Highly quantitative analytical and business minded with a datadriven approach to decision making. Proven experience with regulatory exams and presenting to examiners.
Ability to lead influence and motivate individuals and teams. Skilled in holding people accountable and establishing high standards of excellence.
Executive presence with an ability to influence and work handson with other crossfunctional team leaders such as lawyers engineers product managers data analysts operations analysts in improving compliance processes and systems.
Experience leading diverse teams in a complex matrixed organization. Deep experience and knowledge of traditional money laundering and financing typologies
