Job Description
Electrical Project Manager
Qualifications:
- A Bachelors Degree in Project Management or a related field preferred
- Minimum two to three years of project management experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent computer skills proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and PDF files
- Valid State Drivers License.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Promotes executes and adheres to the companys Health Safety and Environmental program.
- Minimizes exposure and risks by implementing safety standards and quality assurance controls.
- Develops costeffective plans and schedules for completion of projects.
- Coordinates and supervises internal crews and subcontractors as well as manages day to day operational and tactical aspects of multiple projects in a supervisory role.
- Manages jobspecific equipment needs including sourcing logistics and safety assessments.
- Manages procurement of materials including issuing purchase orders and coordinating deliveries.
- Reviews architectural and engineering drawings to make sure that all specifications and regulations are being followed.
- Responsible for proper administration of construction contracts and for obtaining all necessary permits and licenses.
- Tracks and controls construction schedule and associated costs to achieve completion of projects within the allocated time and budget.
- Reports to the Manager about progress and any necessary modifications of plans that seem indicated.
- Represents the company in project meetings and manages day to day client interactions and expectations
- Accurately forecasts revenue profitability and costs for projects and works to achieve revenue goals set for projects.
- Generates and issues regular internal and external project reporting.
- Proactively identifies changes in project scope and revenue and ensures appropriate measures are taken.
- Provides accounting with accurate job costing data and tracks job costs through the duration of a project.
- Attends meetings and required training as needed.
- Perform other duties or task as required based on companys needs.
