About Our Client

Our client a wellestablished regulatory body located in northwest Edmonton is seeking a professional confident and well spoken Reception & Administrative Assistant to join their team.

This is a fulltime inoffice position ideal for someone with 24 years of reception/ administrative experience in a professional environment who takes pride in delivering exceptional service managing details and keeping operations running smoothly.

Please note: This role requires 100 inoffice attendance (no remote or hybrid schedule) at the northwest Edmonton location. Applicants must be legally eligible to work in Canada and able to pass a standard criminal reference check.

The Opportunity

As the Reception/Administrative Assistant youll be the goto person who keeps things running smoothly whether youre managing the front desk solo or collaborating with the team. You bring a polished professional presence a natural ability to communicate clearly and confidently and a knack for staying cool under pressure.

You love a fastpaced environment and take pride in juggling tasks meeting deadlines and staying organized no matter what comes your way. Youre proactive detaildriven and ready to roll up your sleeves to make sure every interaction and process is handled with care and precision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Front Desk & Customer Service: Serve as the first point of contact for guests clients and staff answering phones greeting visitors and responding to email inquiries with professionalism and warmth.
  • Office Administration: Manage mail and courier services monitor office supplies and support general administrative needs to keep things organized and efficient.
  • Meeting Support: Coordinate meeting room bookings set up refreshments manage room arrangements and handle postmeeting cleanup.
  • Admin Support: Assist with internal document tracking and database updates including scanning and following up on outstanding items.
  • Team Collaboration: Support other departments and contribute to special projects as needed.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 24 years of experience in a reception/administrative support role within a professional office setting.
  • High School Diploma along with a diploma or certificate in Business Administration or a related field.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills written and verbal.
  • A polished positive demeanor and excellent organizational habits.
  • Intermediate MS Word Excel and Outlook skills.
  • Experience working with databases or internal systems is a plus.
