AmeriCARE Birmingham is seeking a compassionate and organized Weekend Scheduler/PRN Caregiver to join our team!
Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled caregiver to provide topnotch care to our caregivers and clients Saturday 7am Monday 7am this role will involve managing our caregivers schedule delegating callouts and pickups being readily available to pickup a shift when needed and being responsive through our employee care team chat line. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently communicate effectively and demonstrate a commitment to delivering phenomenal care to our clients and employees.
Responsibilities
Keeping track of caregivers weekend schedule.
Being responsive to our employees through our CareTeam messaging system day & night.
Ensuring adequate coverage and minimizing gaps in care.
Delegating callout and finding replacements.
Picking up shifts when not able to find coverage.
Communicate effectively with caregivers clients and family members.
Maintain accurate records and reports.
When picking up a shift responsibilities include...
Provide personal care and support to clients including: Bathing Dressing Grooming Toileting.
Assist clients with Mobility Transfers and Exercise.
Prepare & serve meals/snacks
Provide medication reminders & assistance
Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients.
Requirements
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification preferred.
2 Years of Caregiving experience.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and organization skills.
Experience with caregiver management and scheduling software.
Reliable transportation and valid drivers license/auto insurance.
Ability to work Saturday 7am Monday 7am
Must be readily responsive and available.
