Were currently seeking a Residential Journeyman Electrician to join our team in Omaha NE! In this role youll be responsible for installing maintaining and repairing electrical systems in residential settings. Youll work closely with homeowners contractors and project managers to ensure that all electrical systems are installed safely efficiently and to the highest standards. As an employeeowner youll have a direct impact on the companys success while growing your career in a supportive teamoriented environment.
Job Summary:
The Journeyman Electrician installs maintains and repairs electrical systems in residential commercial and industrial settings. This role ensures projects meet safety standards codes and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and troubleshoot electrical systems.
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Interpret blueprints and schematics.
- Supervise and train apprentices.
- Collaborate with project teams to meet deadlines.
- Document work and track materials.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Valid Journeyman Electrician license.
- 4 years of electrical experience.
- Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Strong troubleshooting and leadership skills.
Physical Demands:
- Regularly lift up to 50 pounds; occasionally more with assistance.
- Prolonged standing and walking on various surfaces.
- Frequent ladder use and work at heights.
- Regular bending kneeling and working in confined spaces.
- Frequent use of hands for tools and precision work.
- Good vision and hearing required; use of PPE including safety glasses and hearing protection is mandatory.
- Good handeye coordination and dexterity.
Safety Requirements:
- Comply with OSHA safety guidelines and wear PPE as needed.
- Report hazards and follow safe work practices.
Work Environment:
Indoors and outdoors in various settings exposed to extreme weather confined spaces and high elevations.
- Protective equipment is required in noisy dusty or hazardous environments.
- Work may involve tight spaces and handling heavy tools.
- Overtime weekend and emergency work may be required.
