The University of Utah School of Dentistry UUSOD is seeking a fulltime Endodontist with the skills and interest to educate and train an exceptionally talented group of students in a university environment. Responsibilities include preparations for the creation of an advanced education program in endodontics. Other responsibilities include didactic and clinical instruction of dental students in the predoctoral program scholarly activities and service. Optional participation in faculty practice is also available. This position will work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary care of patients in the restorative prosthetic periodontics oral surgery and oral diagnosis sections of the UUSOD . Evidencebased care is integral to all our programs. Clinical training occurs within the School of Dentistry and its satellite community health clinics. The position is available in the (Clinical) Track. Salary and rank will be commensurate with education and experience. This position requires 0.8 to 1.0 FTE or a 4 to 5 day commitment per week. Compensation is based on the published ADEA compensation ranges and we offer an excellent benefits package including immediate vesting of 14.2 to retirement with no match required for all faculty that work more than 50 of the time. Requirements: DDS or DMD degree Certificate or masters degree in endodontics from a CODA accredited school Board certified or board eligible by the American Board of Endodontics Eligible for a Utah dental license Requirements for a Utah dental license are found on DOPL .
