The Director Finance position is accountable for the overall revenue and expense management including the development of a financial and operational strategy accurate forecasting metrics tied to that strategy and the ongoing development oversight and improvement of the control environment and systems designed to preserve company assets and report accurate financial results. This role has revenue and expense management responsibility for the CP ESG Corporate Tax business $100M).
**This is a Hybrid role requiring at least two days in a Wolters Kluwer office location**
As a Director Financial Planning you will provide exceptional financial acumen strategic insight and leadership skills to ensure the organizations financial objectives are met and exceeded.
Strategic Planning and Decision Making
Oversee and guide the strategic financial planning process.
Spearhead initiatives that provide significant business and financial impact.
Revenue Planning & Business Model Decision Making: Lead processes analyze and interpret financial information.
Annual Budget and Planning: Collaborate with the Executive team to develop annual budgets and plans for business units.
Strategic Business Partner: Partner with the Leadership team corporate and business unit leaders on growth and business development initiatives
Financial Reporting and Analysis
Management Reporting: Lead monthly quarterly and annual financial reporting including variance analysis and commentary to support decisionmaking. Develop and present highlevel financial reports to executive leadership.
Financial Analysis and Control: Execute requirements for financial analysis planning control budgeting and reporting systems.
Forecasting and Trend Analysis: Supervise the analysis of advanced financial data and emerging trends.
Compliance and Process Improvement
Financial Compliance: Ensure comprehensive compliance with all financial regulations and standards.
Process Improvements: Drive process improvements for efficiency and transparency in enterprise reporting.
Oversee and improves the control environment helping to ensure that all financial and accounting policies and procedures signing authorities and other control systems are up to date communicated and complied with.
Leadership and Collaboration
Leadership Team Participation: Actively participate in the Corporate Tax Leadership team.
Collaboration with Shared Services: Build relationships with other (finance) teams and shared services for financial reporting accounting compliance internal controls and taxation.
FP&A Collaboration: Work closely with the Divisional FP&A team on reporting VSP and budget.
Financial Support: Partner with executive leadership to shape strategic financial decisions.
Market Trend Monitoring: Advise leadership on market trends affecting financial performance and recommend actions to mitigate risks or seize growth opportunities.
Skills:

Strategic Insight: Expertise in interpreting and utilizing complex financial data.
Advanced Planning and Analysis: Skills in creating detailed and strategic financial plans.
Communication: Drives effective communication across multiple levels (including CSuite)
Regulatory Expertise: Indepth understanding of financial compliance and regulations.
Executive Partnership: Ability to collaborate effectively with toplevel executives.
Financial Innovation: Competence in developing and enhancing financial models and strategies.

Job Qualifications
Education:
Minimum: Bachelors degree in business Finance or related discipline
Preferred: Masters degree in finance Business Administration or related discipline
Experience:
Minimum Experience: 15 years FP&A experience with a min 5 years leading teams and responsibility for financial operations for a revenue line of business
Other Knowledge Skills Abilities or Certifications
Minimum:
Expert in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook).
Must be capable of multitasking prioritization decision making and able to manage multiple systems data sets and priorities
