Responsibilities
Reporting to the Marketing Communications Manager this position assists both Marketing and Public Relations staff with digital communications. Initial responsibilities include:
Working with outside email marketing vendor (currently ActiveCampaign) and creating email campaigns
Developing and understanding list segmentation open rates ongoing reporting analyses
Auditing and maintaining current campaigns and calendars
Understanding best practices of email marketing
Providing recommendations for effective automated ecampaigns
Providing website updates/maintenance and reporting on webpage traffic data
Providing updates/maintenance/coding on our estore (primarily related to event ticketing)
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in marketing computer science or related field required. At least one to two years relevant experience. Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects independently and efficiently. Effective verbal communications skills. Selfstarter strong time management skills and ability to communicate challenges/barriers to efficient and effective workflows especially related to digital communications. Strong analytical skills; adept at recognizing trends in open rates and list management.
Required: Experience with:
Microsoft Office suite of products particularly Excel and Access
HTML and CSS
Adobe Photoshop and Dreamweaver
Skills that are a plus:
AP style writing and editing
ActiveCampaign management/creating email campaigns in ActiveCampaign
Donor management software (such as Raisers Edge)
