Whatyou will be doing:Youll be responsible for treating and preventing minor injuries and illnesses. Will provide information and guidance for the promotion of good health and wellbeing of our in collaboration with the WHD and provides oversight of the wellness clinic in their absence.

Essential functions:

• Provide nursing and basic healthcare to students as authorized.
• Provide supervision to the staff LPNs/LVNs to assure compliance.
• Monitor students with illness who are unable to attend class.
• As required take after hour phone calls from nonhealth staff for students medical symptoms not covered under the symptomatic management guidelines (SMGs) or directed calls per the SMG.
• Conduct coordinated health care for students and implementation of other health related programs.
• Assure clinic services including medication management are within health staff scope of practice and within state federal & company regulations.
• Record keeping.
• Assist in development of community linkages for health and disability resources.
• Provide direction and technical assistance to LPNs/LVPs in all required health related programs.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Active unrestricted registered nurse license in the state of employment.
• A valid driver license with an acceptable driving record.
