Reporting to the Global Architecture Research & Development Manager the Global Architecture Research & Development Specialist will support research and development (R&D) initiatives working on architectural projects from concept through to implementation. This role will assist in exploring new materials building techniques and sustainable solutions while ensuring that all projects align with the companys design standards.
How you will contribute
Support R&D projects focused on architectural innovation within the luxury sector;
Collaborate with design teams engineers and external consultants to develop creative architectural solutions;
Assist in researching emerging architectural trends materials technologies and construction methods for Store Design Interior/Exteriors applications;
Assist in designing and engineering new fixtures and solutions including fixtures lighting flooring and storefronts;
Ensure that project designs align with the companys aesthetic vision and standards of luxury;
Support prototyping testing and development of new materials and techniques for architecture;
Assist in ensuring R&D activities are aligned with costs and budgets set by the store planning team to contribute to timely project completion;
Collaborate with the Design Team to develop and define concept guidelines for Brand Concepts Bible;
Liaise with clients suppliers and regulatory bodies to ensure project approval and compliance;
Research sustainability and ecofriendly initiatives to integrate green practices into projects;
Contribute to continuous improvement in design and project delivery through R&D insights;
Assist in preparing reports documentation and presentations to communicate findings and project progress to the team;
Communicate effectively with the Architecture and Visual Merchandising teams and global company stakeholders.
Who you are
Degree in Architecture Engineering Product Design or related field.
2.5 years of experience in architectural project management R&D or innovation in luxury or highend architecture.
Experience supporting multiple projects from concept to implementation.
Knowledge of architectural materials building techniques sustainability practices and new technologies.
Proficient in architectural design software (e.g. AutoCAD Rhino Revit etc..
Strong understanding of the luxury sector with an eye for detail and design quality.
Excellent communication and problemsolving skills.
Fluency in English and Italian is required.
Creative forwardthinking and passionate about architectural design.
Strong attention to detail and a sense of aesthetics.
Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively under pressure.
Team player with a collaborative approach to working across functions.
