Job Description
Job Summary:
Glazers Beer and Beverage is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Network Infrastructure Engineer to join our infrastructure team in Dallas. This is a hybrid position requiring three days in office. The ideal candidate will have expertise in networking and firewall management with strong skills in systems engineering and light security tasks. You will be responsible for designing managing and optimizing network infrastructure ensuring high performance security and reliability across multiple U.S locations. You will also work closely with crossfunctional teams participate in executing major projects and make recommendations for system improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design configure and deploy LAN/WAN infrastructure that meets both current and future business requirements.
- Configure implement and troubleshoot Cisco Meraki gateways switches and wireless access points.
- Implement and maintain network security measures including firewalls IDS/IPS and VPNs.
- Assess network risks and perform contingency planning.
- Perform Layer 2 and Layer 3 network troubleshooting and optimization to ensure seamless communication across devices and applications.
- Analyze packet captures (Wireshark etc) to troubleshoot complex network performance issues.
- Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs patches and security configurations.
- Coordinate with ISPs to address connectivity issues and oversee circuit installations and upgrades.
- Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to identify and remediate potential vulnerabilities in the network architecture.
- Implement proactive solutions and conduct thorough root cause analysis for critical issues.
- Collaborate with the team to formulate Intune solutions.
- Administer and optimize Windows Server environments including Active Directory DFS replication DNS DHCP and GPOs.
- Configure and deploy VMWare ESXi hosts ensuring the proper setup and integration of storage networking and resources to support a reliable and efficient VMWare environment.
- Utilize automation scripts and tools to streamline deployment and patching processes.
- Support the EDI solution (OpenText Cleo Lexicom) and work with vendors to resolve issues.
- Collaborate with the team to update disaster recovery procedures to confirm readiness for potential incidents.
- Assist with mergers and acquisitions ensuring smooth transitions of network and system infrastructure.
- Travel to branches as needed to support infrastructure refresh initiatives address critical wireless needs or to address any issues affecting the production environment. 25 travel)
- Share your expertise mentor junior team members and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain documentation regarding network architecture system configurations and troubleshooting procedures.
- Follow change management policies to ensure awareness approval and success of changes made to the network environment.
- Respond to infrastructurerelated and escalated tickets.
- Participate in a shared rotation of offhours oncall support to address critical issues.
- Perform other jobrelated duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology related field or equivalent experience.
- 5 years of proven experience working as an Infrastructure or Network Engineer.
- Relevant certifications (CCNA CCNP CMSS etc) are highly desirable.
Technical Skills:
- Proven experience designing implementing and managing complex infrastructure environments.
- Demonstrated experience working within TCP/IP networks LAN WAN wLAN and vLAN technologies required.
- Experience configuring deploying and troubleshooting routers switches and wireless access points. Experience with Meraki gateways switches and wireless access points is a plus.
- Experience with routing and switching protocols and services (BGP OSPF RSTP STP UDLD BPDU Guard) and their practical applications.
- Proven experience configuring and managing firewalls IDS/IPS and VPNs.
- Handson experience with SDWAN technologies and QoS.
- Experience with wireless networking (Cisco Meraki Aruba).
- Solid understanding of the OSI model.
- Experience with monitoring analyzing and evaluating network performance to ensure system availability and traffic flow optimization.
- Expertise in deploying and maintaining networking equipment physical servers and other hardware components in data center environments and remote locations.
- Experience in Active Directory and Azure AD Management AAD Sync SSO/ADFS.
- Proficiency with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools (PRTG Site 24X7 Wireshark packet analysis).
- Indepth problemsolving and troubleshooting skills along with a strong understanding of the dependencies that exist between systems servers and networkbased components.
- Experience configuring and troubleshooting backup solutions.
- PowerShell experience preferred.
- Strong Office 365 administration experience MFA conditional access policies.
- Experience with Microsoft Intune (Autopilot configuration policies migration of OnPrem GPOs to Intune).
- Experience with VMWare vSphere and VMWare migrations as well as Windows Server 20xx environments (DNS DHCP GPO DFS replication).
- Experience developing implementing troubleshooting and auditing Group Policies.
- Experience supporting both internal (Active Directory) and externally hosted DNS platforms.
- Familiarity with the following Microsoft technologies: IIS KMS WSUS RDS licensing AD DS AD CS and WDS.

- Familiarity with ITIL.
Nice to have:
- Experience with cloud networking technologies and network automation.
- SQL Server experience.
- Experience creating network diagrams (MS Visio)
- Experience with CLIbased configuration (Aruba Cisco)
- Project based experience extending Active Directory to cloud services such as AWS and Azure.
- Experience with Microsoft TenanttoTenant migrations.
