Summary
Great Southern Wood Preserving Incorporated producer of Yellawood brand pressuretreated pine products is seeking a Management Trainee. In this position the Management Trainee is exposed to all business and industry aspects for the ultimate onthejob learning experience. If you are willing to get down to the nuts and bolts of our operations and learn with the best in the industry this is for you!
The Management Trainee can expect training in the following areas:
- Production The selected applicant will learn our production process from start to finish. This will cover our process from the time the products come into the facility to when they leave on a truck headed to the customer. This will be handson and the applicant should be willing to work outside and in the elements.
- Inventory how we track our stock and how it changes through all phases of production. The applicant will also learn how we spot issues in the inventory process and the steps taken to correct them
- Shipping/Receiving The applicant will learn how we receive in products and the process for shipping products.
- Sales The selected applicant will learn how sales and production correlate to make sure the customers needs are met.
Education and/or Experience:
A four 4 year degree in supply chain management engineering forestry or related field is preferred.
