The Boeing CompanyBoeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an Entry Level Procurement Agent (Level 1 to join the BGS Government International Strategic Sourcing team in Hazelwood MO; Ridley Park PA. The successful candidates will support procurement activities for aftermarket goods and services from international suppliers in a fastpaced environment while learning new skills solving challenging problems and experiencing opportunities to grow in the Supply Chain organization. The successful candidate will act as an authorized agent of the company with responsibility for managing all supplierrelated activities and the authority to commit company resources through contracts and agreements.
This position is expected to be 100 onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options: Hazelwood MO; Ridley Park PA.
Position Responsibilities:
Effectively manage priorities for a high volume of supplier purchase orders/contracts
Manage contractual documents and binding agreements including preparing negotiating executing and documenting Request for Proposals (RFP) supplier contracts and purchase orders in accordance with regulatory requirements and Boeing procedures
Manage supplier performance interpreting and enforcing contract terms and conditions
Communicate and engage with stakeholders to ensure that program and customer strategies are integrated into supplier source selection negotiation and contracting strategies
Communicate across functions programs and suppliers to effectively manage risks issues and opportunities
Possess general understanding ability and knowledge to act independently when working routine problems or situations
Possess general knowledge of company and local policies procedures and regulations
The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements therefore a US Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. US Person includes US Citizen lawful permanent resident refugee or asylee. Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Experience working with Supplier Management Supply Chain Procurement and/or strategic sourcing practices and processes
Proficient in Microsoft Suite
Must be able to work in a collaborative team environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelors degree or higher in Business Supply Chain or related field
More than 1 year of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Typical Education/Experience:
Related work experience relevant military experience or advanced degree preferred but not required.
Relocation:
This position does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
