Position Summary: Seeking a motivated and detailoriented Junior Project Manager. The successful candidate will assist in managing projects related to USSTRATCOM strategic weapon system planning programs and emerging commercial systems. The role involves supporting capabilitiesbased assessments modeling and simulation activities technology studies and engineering analyses to enhance system performance survivability and cybersecurity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Planning & : Define project scope objectives and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders. Develop and manage project plans schedules budgets and resource allocation.
• Risk & Issue Management: Identify potential risks develop mitigation strategies and proactively address project challenges to avoid delays.
• Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between teams clients and leadership to ensure alignment clarity and timely decisionmaking.
• Agile & Waterfall Methodologies: Apply appropriate project management frameworks based on project needs balancing Agile and traditional approaches.
• Performance Monitoring: Track project progress create reports and ensure milestones are met using key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Process Improvement: Continuously assess project management processes and recommend improvements for efficiency and quality.
• Vendor & Resource Management: Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure smooth and delivery of project requirements.
• Compliance & Documentation: Maintain proper project documentation adhere to organizational policies and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Education: Bachelors degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Typically requires 2 to 4 years of relevant experience within the program
• Clearance: Active Top Secret with SCI eligibility
• Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills
• Experience: Prior internship or work experience in project management
• Certification: PMP Certification or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)

Desired:

• Education: Bachelors degree in Business Administration Management Engineering or a related field preferred
• Project Management Certification: PMI ACP
• Scrum Certification:
  • Certified Scrum Product Owner
  • Certified Scrum Master
• Work Environment Experience: Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced environment
• Project Management Tools: Proficiency in project management software tools
• Microsoft Office: Experience with Microsoft Office products to include Microsoft Word Excel PowerPoint and Outlook
• Skills: Demonstrated problem solving skills
• Project Management Methodologies: Strong understanding of project management methodologies including Agile Scrum Kanban and Waterfall
