Role Details:
Routes: Collecting from our Customer network delivering to Visy sites in VIC.
Locations: Based out of Coolaroo
Hours: 5AM Start MonFriday Weekend work
What youll do:
- Operating Heavy Rigid waste collection vehicles performing collections of Recyclable materials from our network of Customers Depots and Reverse Vending Machines throughout Greater Melbourne and Visys CDS Northern Zone
- Conduct thorough pretrip inspections to ensure your vehicle is roadworthy and compliant.
- Ensure timely and efficient collections and delivery of materials maintaining adherence to schedules.
- Accurately complete incab electronic reporting systems and other required documentation.
- Comply with all company/site policies and state and national transport regulations including Fatigue Management and Chain of Responsibility laws.
What You Will Bring:
- A valid HR Licence with minimum of 2 years recent Australian driving experience.
- Previous experience with multidrop tautliners flatbeds or waste collections vehicles.
- Sound knowledge of the Greater Melbourne area.
- Provide a full 5year demerit point history report.
- Complete Visy Practical Driver Assessment.
- A strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
- A comprehensive understanding of road fatigue and load restraint laws.
- Pride in the presentation and maintenance of trucks and equipment.
