Are you skilled with hand tools and a good team player If so consider becoming UHaul Companys newest Assembler! In this position you will work on a UHaul manufacturing plants production line to ensure that products are efficiently and skillfully assembled while maintaining UHauls high standards of quality. This fastpaced job also comes with excellent benefits and a supportive company culture.
Primary Responsibilities
- Assemble components for trucks trailers and rental support items in a production line within given cycle times.
- Utilize proper tools to align drill and secure correct components with correct fasteners.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience with air and hand tools a plus.
- Able to follow detailed written/verbal instructions and standard operating procedures
- Able to work efficiently as part of a team
- Regular attendance is essential.
Work Environment:
The work involves moderate risks or discomforts which require special safety precautions e.g. working around moving parts machines fumes or irritating chemicals. May be required to use protective clothing or gear such as masks goggles gloves or shields.
Physical Demands:
The work requires some physical exertion such as long periods both indoors and outdoors of remaining stationary traversing spaces repositioning to reach and use tools and moving a minimum of 50 lbs assisted or unassisted.
