As a Applied Scientist at the intersection of machine learning and the life sciences you will participate in developing exciting products for customers. Our team rewards curiosity while maintaining a laserfocus in bringing products to market. At the forefront of both academic and applied research in this product area you have the opportunity to work together with a diverse and talented team of scientists engineers and product managers and collaborate with others teams.
PhD in life sciences or related field
4 years of research experience
2 years of directlyrelated commercial or academic postgraduate experience.
Ability to work within multidisciplinary teams at the interface of life science and computer science.
Expertise with cutting edge life science methods and concepts.
Familiarity with data analysis tools and methodologies that are commonly used in modern data analysis.
Work with a team of researchers to extend and interpret advanced analytical methodologies.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $212800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
