Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Design reverse engineer and troubleshoot custom gearing and industrial gearboxes
- Work closely with sales and service teams machinists assemblers and vendors to ensure project success
- Communicate clearly and professionally with customers to provide technical support project updates and solutions
- Manage projects from quoting through completion meeting customer timelines and quality standards
- Create and review engineering drawings models using Solid Works.
- Develop technical documentation for repairs and gearing
- Support continuous improvement in processes and products
- Utilize ERP systems (JobBOSS experience a plus) to manage work orders and track project progress
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering or related field
- 3 years of experience in the gear industry strongly preferred
- Solid understanding of gear geometry materials and manufacturing methods
- Handson experience with gearbox design and repair
- Strong project management skills and attention to detail
- Familiarity with ERP systems and job tracking tools
- Excellent communication and problemsolving skills
