Job Description

As a Software Engineer III C# / .Net / WPF Python Developer at JPMorgan Chase within the Commercial & Investment Bank Markets Technology Team youll execute software solutions through the design development and technical troubleshooting of multiple components within a technical product application or system while gaining the skills and experience needed to grow within your role. Youll be a part of an agile team that works to enhance design and deliver the software components of the firms stateoftheart technology products in a secure stable and scalable way
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop high availability trading systems including building new applications/infrastructure & enrich existing applications as a part of the team using variety of advance technologies in Pretrade space. Align development with the overall Credit trading strategy.
- Convert and enhance complex trading workflows into intuitive user interfaces.
- Build strong relationships founded on trust integrity & delivery with our partners on the trading desk research QR market risk operations & technology.
- Design and deliver marketleading technology products in a secure and scalable way as a seasoned member of an agile team
- Proactively identify hidden problems and patterns in data and uses these insights to drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architecture
- Own the entire software development cycle from requirements gathering right through to eventual release & subsequent support. Manage software lifecycle in a systematic way. Thoroughness with attention to details is expected.
Required qualifications capabilities and skills:
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3 years application development experience
- Proficiency in C#.Net WPF is must.
- Solid understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD Application Resiliency and Security.
- Proven organizational skills decisive priority management strong teamwork ethic excellent verbal & written communication skills.
Preferred qualifications capabilities and skills:
- Python skill is desirable.
- Experience in developing realtime and low latency applications especially development of frontends with serverside understanding is desirable
- Understanding of Cloud applications is good to have.
- Understanding of Middleware technologies Relational Database.
