As a Regional Sales Manager you take pride in representing Baxter and our products. Your keen understanding of our deep portfolio of Infusion Systems products and belief in the value and quality they provide to patients fuels your confidence. In this position you will have responsibility for managing a team of Infusion Systems Territory Managers with responsibility for the tactical/operational daily activities of the sales team in leading the team to exceed the Infusion Therapies and Technologies expectations. This team is responsible for the saleof large volume infusion pumps syringe pumps accessories as well as software upgrades and extended Service packages tohospitalsthroughoutthe region. What youll be doing:

  • Achieving sales quotas through the direct sale of the companys products or services. Implement sales strategies to attain sales volume product mix and profit objectives
  • Supporting the IS Territory Managers with prospective customers delivering effective sales presentations providing technical and administrative product information and/or demonstrations and quoting appropriate customer prices
  • Providing feedback to immediate supervisor and marketing personnel for the development of marketing policy recommending product and product line revisions as well as pricing changes
  • Promoting the Baxter Culture through positive ongoing relationships and activities
  • Preparing annual regional sales forecasts sales against forecasts and participating in the determination of market potential for the region
  • Contacting major accounts to ensure customer satisfaction within assigned region
  • Directing staffing training and performance evaluations to develop and control sales program
  • Partnering with sales support training marketing and R&D in activities such as sales promotion training or market research in planning and executing special projects


What youll bring:

  • Bachelors degree required with 7 years of healthcare sales experience. Prior capital equipment sales experience preferred
  • 5 years of sales management experience within medical device/healthcare space preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and oral as well as negotiation and presentation skills
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data for effective sales strategies and good organization/time management skills
  • Ability to understand and adapt to customer changing needs is essential
  • Strong business acumen and knowledge of sales processes as well as leadership and decisionmaking abilities
  • Ability to travel as its required and may involve visits to remote or urban areas either individually or with other personnel

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter we are committed to equitable pay for all employees and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $128000 to $252000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors all of which are subject to change.
