Job Description
The Retail Sales Associate delivers worldclass customer service to all retail customers by receiving and processing packages for courier shipment and operating copiers fax machines binding equipment laminating machines and pointofsale devices. The associate advises our valued clients by providing accurate information on our products services and bestvalue options and exhibits excellent customer care! The ideal candidate must be able to lift 45 pounds when needed.
The Ideal Candidate has previous retail experience continued work history strong computer and internet skills a high school diploma or GED a friendly and genuinely helpful attitude and a professional appearance.
Responsibilities
- Delivers outstanding customer service to walkin customers and telephone inquiries
- Continuously practices good listening skills with customers UPS Store team members and leadership
- Takes ownership of the customers shipping needs and offers viable solutions
- Takes action to learn all product and service offerings alternative solutions and industry trends
- Operates all equipment software and devices expertly and is willing to teach others
- Maintains a clean organized and safe working environment
- Performs other duties and tasks as assigned
Job Details
- The store is open 7 days per week; weekends are required.
- Fulltime position with availability for all shifts including weekends.
- The job will pay $14.00/hr $15.00/hr.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Over 18 years old.
- Retail/customer service experience.
- Good communication and people skills.
- Able to crosssell and upsell products and services.
- Excellent packing skills.
- Excellent multitasking abilities.
- Ontime attendance is nonnegotiable.
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and Adobe Suites.
- Outstanding phone etiquette.
- Dependable and strong work history.
- Able to lift up to 45 pounds.
