As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB) Markets Research Technology team you will play a pivotal role in the design and delivery of toptier technology products. Your work will involve challenging projects in cloudnative data backend engineering and AI/ML engineering aiding in the industrialization of AI/ML models at a production scale. This handson engineering role will utilize your expertise to promote critical technology solutions across various business functions.
Job Responsibilities:
- Execute software solutions design development and technical troubleshooting.
- Create secure and highquality production code and maintain algorithms.
- Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications.
- Build engineering stacks for Data and AIML products including data engineering backend engineering Cloud infra DevOps and MLOps.
- Design and implement data engineering solutions using modern big data technologies.
- Contribute to software engineering communities of practice and explore new technologies.
- Foster a team culture of diversity equity inclusion and respect.
- Embrace a passion for learning problemsolving and creative thinking.
Required Qualifications Capabilities and Skills:
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and proficient applied experience
- Handson experience in system design application development testing and operational stability.
- Proficient in coding in Python.
- Experience in developing debugging and maintaining code in a corporate environment.
- Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle.
- Proven track record in system design architecting and developing microservices and distributed systems.
- Experience with Cloud services Infrastructure as Code and containerized application development.
- Practical experience developing productionscale cloudnative data engineering solutions.
- Familiarity with Cloud Data engineering services and MLOps.
- Ability to convey design choices and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications Capabilities and Skills:
- Experience with data and ML engineering in commercial settings.
- Experience working on recommendation systems or other AI/ML systems.
- Practical experience with Kubernetes EKS Docker MLOps and Spark.
- Prior experience collaborating with data scientists.
Required or Additional Information: This position is subject to Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act. As such an employment offer for this position is contingent on JPMorgan Chases review of criminal conviction history including pretrial diversions or program entries.
