Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Manager to join a luxury hotel based in George. This position requires a passionate hospitality professional who is servicedriven detailoriented and thrives in a fastpaced highend environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth and efficient service
Maintain high standards of food quality presentation and service in line with the hotels 5star standards
Manage and train the restaurant team ensuring a strong service culture and attention to detail
Monitor guest satisfaction and respond promptly to feedback or complaints
Handle staff scheduling inventory control and operational budgets
Collaborate with the culinary team to enhance the dining experience and introduce new menu ideas
Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and hygiene standards
Drive sales through exceptional service and upselling techniques
Requirements:
Previous experience in a similar role within a 4*/5* hospitality environment
Strong leadership and people management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences
Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and public holidays
Solid understanding of food and beverage operations
Computer literacy and proficiency in POS and restaurant management software
