About the Role
Benore Logistic Systems Inc. is seeking a Safety Supervisor to champion safety initiatives ensure compliance with DOT regulations and enhance our safety culture. In this role you will mentor drivers oversee compliance documentation and conduct investigations to uphold our commitment to safe and secure operations. Your leadership will play a crucial role in fostering a proactive safety environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Driver Coaching & Development Mentor and guide drivers through safety assessments evaluations and targeted improvement plans.
- Incident Investigations Conduct thorough investigations and detailed reporting for accidents injuries and safety incidents.
- Safety Engagement & Programs Promote driver engagement through proactive safety initiatives appreciation activities and incentive programs.
- Regulatory Compliance Administer DOT licensing examinations and compliance documentation to ensure full regulatory adherence.
- Drug & Alcohol Program Oversight Manage the DOT Drug and Alcohol program ensuring compliance with all testing requirements.
- Support Hiring & Training Assist in driver hiring training onboarding and road testing to ensure competency and adherence to safety policies.
- Community Safety Representation Serve as a company liaison promoting the safety of Benore s driving operations within the community.
- Safety Communications Develop and deliver impactful safety messages policies and training materials in collaboration with management.
- Audit & Documentation Management Assist in the administration of vehicle registrations permits and internal/external safety audits.
Requirements
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Bachelor s degree in a related field preferred; Associate s degree or relevant experience considered.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in transportation safety administration with knowledge of DOT regulations.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite TMW and telematics systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Leadership & Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks oversee compliance initiatives and promote a culture of safety.
