Job Description

The Lead Applications Analyst will be responsible for defining developing and supporting SAP SD/Order Management applications and related integrations at FBIN.  This role is responsible for helping maintain our SAP Order Management systems and processes as well as implementing enhancements working closely with business stakeholders and other IT associates.

Position location: This position is eligible for a hybrid schedule based out of Deerfield IL. Effective mid2025 Fortune Brands will transition to a new worldclass campus in Deerfield bringing together associates from across our U.S. offices brands and functions. The campus will offer vibrant workspaces for collaboration along with amenities for dining onsite daycare fitness and recreation

RESPONSIBLIITIES:

What you will be doing

  • As a Senior level SAP ECC IT Analyst works on the SAP ABAP a technical lead as well as hands on developer role with primary emphasis on SD module
  • Leverage investment in SAP ECC platform to optimize order to cash processes with a bias towards standard SAP solutions.
  • Manage ongoing support and maintenance of SD module processes and capabilities
  • Provide daytoday system and application support including user setup management and training.
  • Implement new application systems modifications to existing systems by implementing new enhancements and production support maintenance
  • Translate business requests and requirements into clear and effective reporting.
  • Assist in the design development testing documentation and deployment of system configuration changes workflows process extensions and events.
  • Promote improvement of internal processes/systems through analysis and team collaboration with business stakeholders.
  • Facilitate upgrades patching and new module implementations.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and debug systems issues
  • Leverage IT governance processes to ensure proper project definition socialization and control. Experience with Agile methodologies preferred.
  • Manage risk through corporate compliance
  • Coordinate and support managed services/external resources and priorities. 

Qualifications :

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 7 years experience with SAPbased order to cash process including downstream process integrations including financial systems  
  • 5 years of experience in SAP SD module within the Order to Cash process
  • Proficient knowledge of configuration of SAP SD module
    • Order Management configurations
    • Pricing configurations
    • Master data (products customers suppliers materials) configurations
    • Listings and exclusions
    • Availability checks/Reservations
    • Intercompany/Crosscompany relationships and setups
    • 3rd party processing
    • Experience with configuration of SD module with IMG
  • Good understanding in any of the following areas:
    • ABAP Object Oriented development.
    • Experience working with userexits
    • Experience debugging
    • Experience with Sapscript Smartforms Adobe Forms (plus)
    • Experience developing remote function calls and creating services for RFCs and generating WSDLs.
    • Experience calling external services.
  • Proven track record of successful fullscale SAP ECC implementation projects from a leadership and development perspective preferably using the Agile development methodology
  • SAP SD integration experience with CRM EDI or thirdparty logistics tools as a plus.
  • Selfmotivated team player that is task oriented and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Past experience working with the offshore and ability to administrate the offshore delivery
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Handson focus on system usability user training where applicable and customer satisfaction.
  • Comfortable and competent in developing technical design specifications documenting system and business processes from inception to completion to build organization and system knowledgebases.
  • Ability to build and maintain crossfunctional work relationships with internal/external customers.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors degree in information systems Computer Science Engineering or related discipline.
  • Experience with programming or configuration SAP FICO module
  • SAP S/4 or Fiori experience a plus
