As an Director of Finance/Credit you will be responsible for managing and receiving payment and posting amount to customers account; preparing statements to credit department if customer fails to respond; working closely with other departments to keep them informed and/or provide pertinent information; and keeping records of collection and status of accounts.
- Locate and notify brand leaders and/or management of delinquent accounts.
- Advise customers of necessary actions and strategies for payment.
- Locate and monitor overdue accounts.
- Collect deposits payments or fees.
- Discuss account status or activity with customers or patrons.
- File documents or records electronically.
- Maintain financial or account records.
- Monitor and maintain confidentiality with financial information.
- Obtain personal or financial information about customers or applicants.
- Provide information to coworkers.
- Provide notifications to customers or patrons.
- Respond to customer problems or complaints.
- Assist with annual audits regarding requested documentation.
- Maintain and create reports on a daily weekly and/or monthly basis.
- Engage with customers to assist in completing documentation to obtain financing.
- Develop dashboards to summarize both A/R and Financing activities for Executive management.
- Enhance Financing options for customers to obtain funds through unsecured credit sources SBA lending and ROBS 401K rollover program.
- Makes decisions in accordance with government laws and regulations.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree (B. A. B.B.A. or B.S. or equivalent from fouryear college or university; or Associates degree (A. A. or A.S. or equivalent from twoyear college or technical school; or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- An individual should have working knowledge of Microsoft Word Outlook and Internet Explorer and advanced Excel skills including demonstrated use of Pivot Tables. Prior experience with accounting software including Great Plains is desirable.
- Exposure to foreign currency transactions is desirable.
