Job Description
As the Data Migration Lead youll take full ownership of the endtoend data migration lifecyclefrom strategy and planning to validation and risk management. Youll develop and lead an integrated plan to transition data from SAP and nonSAP systems ensuring minimal disruption to business operations. Collaborating closely with stakeholders across the business youll define and deliver highquality ETL processes and oversee data cleansing and validation activities.
Youll champion data governance and compliance throughout the migration journey ensuring integrity security and alignment with business objectives. With strong vendor and stakeholder engagement skills youll build buyin drive change and keep senior leaders informed through clear reporting on KPIs and progress. Youll also play a key role in embedding best practices and capturing lessons learned to support future transformation initiatives.
Qualifications :
About you:
Youre a seasoned data migration leader with a strong foundation in retail and transformation environments. Youre known for being composed under pressure pragmatic in your delivery and collaborative in how you work.
Youll bring:
5 years experience leading complex data migration projects including SAP S/4HANA.
Deep knowledge of ETL tools (e.g. SAP BODS Informatica Talend) and data quality frameworks.
Experience working across cloud and onpremise systems (e.g. AWS Azure GCP).
A track record of delivery in retail or FMCG environments.
Strong understanding of data governance and compliance frameworks.
Exceptional stakeholder engagement and leadership skills.
Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies.
Even better if you have:
PMP or relevant project management qualifications.
Experience using tools such as SAP MDG SAP Data Services and the SAP BTP Integration Suite.
Background working with enterprise architecture testing or transformation delivery partners.
