Compensation Range
The base pay scale for this position is $68.00 $68.00. In addition this position will be eligible for additional benefits consistent with the role. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be determined based on various factors including but not limited to: scope of role level of experience education accomplishments internal equity budget and subject to Fair Market Value evaluation. Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS) is seeking to hire a per diem Sports Dietitian whose primary role is to provide nutrition services to a range of athletes ability levels and ages focused on but not limited to weight/body composition management training and competition fueling fueling plans for endurance athletes and gastrointestinal symptoms related to sports nutrition and training.
The successful candidate should be comfortable working in a collaborative outpatient clinical setting that includes other allied health practitioners such as physical therapists and exercise physiologists. The candidate will have the opportunity to participate in community outreach initiatives as well as having the opportunity to present at professional education conferences.
This is a unique opportunity for an individual with solid testing and training skills as well as superior customer service to join a growing program in a worldrenowned academic medical center.

Requirements
To qualify you must be a Registered Dietitian (RD) with Board Certification in Sports Dietetics (CSSD) and have New York State certification (CDN). In addition experience with metabolic data and endurance athletes is required.
