Job Description
Job Title: Pedee Middle Social Studies TeacherLocation: Luckiamute Valley Charter SchoolsPosition Type: FullTime Job Summary: We are seeking an exemplary candidate who possesses an understanding of history geography civics and economics and will be able to create engaging and inclusive lessons for students in grades 68. Pedee is a small innovative middle school located outside of the Dallas Monmouth Responsibilities:Develop and implement ageappropriate lesson plans aligned with curriculum units on world history U.S. history geography government and current an inclusive and respectful classroom that encourages student participation and student learning through a variety of methods including quizzes projects presentations and class technology and multimedia tools to enhance instruction and student regular communication with parents and guardians regarding student with fellow teachers and staff on crosscurricular activities and schoolwide in professional development staff meetings and school accurate records of attendance grades and student :Bachelors degree in Education History Social Studies or a related field Valid TSPC teaching certification for middle school social studies in OregonStrong classroom management skills and a passion for working with communication organization and collaboration Skills:Familiarity with projectbased learning and inquirybased using educational technology (e.g. Google Classroom online resources).Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning Join UsSupportive and collaborative school class sizes classes are capped at 27 studentsPersonalized learning for professional growth and chance to make a lasting impact on students academic and personal school and work salary and benefitsHow to Apply:Interested candidates should submit a cover letter resume and three professional references to Daniel Shimek email: 12975 Kings Valley Hwy Monmouth Oregon 97361 Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
