Contracts Manager
Location: London & South East (office and sitebased)
Employment Type: FullTime Permanent

About the Role
Ensigna Construction is looking for an experienced and proactive Contracts Manager to lead the delivery of public and commercial construction projects ranging from 1m to 8m. This is a senior leadership role within a growing business ideal for someone with a strong background in public sector delivery and a commitment to quality safety and compliance.
You will oversee projects from preconstruction through to completion working collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure all programmes are delivered on time within budget and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities

Manage the successful delivery of multiple live projects across the education healthcare civic and commercial sectors

Support preconstruction activities including tender input methodology development and value engineering

Act as the primary point of contact for clients consultants and supply chain partners

Oversee programme management health and safety quality assurance and commercial performance

Work closely with site teams to manage risk resolve issues and drive operational efficiency

Ensure compliance with contractual obligations public procurement standards and construction regulations
Candidate Profile
Were seeking a confident and organised professional with a proven track record in managing public sector construction projects from inception to completion.
Essential Requirements:

Minimum HNC in Construction or equivalent
-
Demonstrable experience managing contracts within the construction industry

Strong knowledge of public sector frameworks regulations and stakeholder expectations

Comfortable leading across both preconstruction and delivery phases

Skilled in managing budgets programmes and crossfunctional teams
-
Excellent communication negotiation and leadership abilities
-
Full UK driving licence
