Job Description
Key Duties include:
- Ensure efficient friendly and professional food & beverage service is provided to all guests.
- Protect and maintain control of food & beverage service equipment correctly recording breakages and carry our regular stock takes.
- Control and maintain a weekly cleaning schedule for the food service areas to achieve the highest possible hygiene and cleaning standards.
- Ensure guest billing is completed accurately following hotel procedure and that correct charges are posted.
- Be knowledgeable of and operate within appropriate outlet and hotel liquor licensing guidelines and House Management Policies.
- Maintain currency of Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification amendments and updates and adhere to RSA principles.
- Maintain clean and neat presentation of bar and restaurant area(s) following set opening closing and daily procedures.
- Follow daily procedures including cashier close ups and accounting responsibilities.
Qualifications :
Experience required:
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a food and beverage outlet.
- Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate.
- Strong knowledge of a variety of beverages including beer wine spirits and cocktails.
