This fulltime classified and overtime eligible position is part of the library team and reports to the Associate Dean of the Library. This position is responsible for assisting library patrons at the information desk cataloging records maintaining the library catalog and updating library database records. The Library Coordinator is also responsible for creating circulation desk schedules hiring and supervising student workers. This position is a core part of the librarys leadership team and will be responsible for handling patron and building issues in the absence of the Associate Dean of the Library. The work hours for this position will include evening hours.Applications received by May 6th will receive priority consideration. This position will remain open until it is filled. The Library Coordinator is represented by The Renton Professional Technical Association (ProfTech).The pay range for this role is $4407$5850 monthly and salary placement is based on applicable work experience. New hires may not be placed above Step 10 $5550. ProfTech employees receive a yearly degree stipend depending on the highest level earned (Associates degree $150 Bachelors $250 or a Masters $350.
