About the Role:

The Team:

Agile Practices is a team of dedicated professionals supporting our critical technology systems while fostering collaboration and innovation. We guide our teams and stakeholders by implementing agile practices driving solution design and creating long term value to our customers.

Responsibilities and Impact:

  • Act as a servant leader and agile coach guiding AI Data Science and ML teams on agile values principles and practices while balancing researchdriven workflows with iterative delivery.
  • Facilitate Scrum events including Daily Standups Iteration Planning Refinement sessions Iteration Reviews and Retrospectives ensuring they are tailored to the unique needs of AI/ML teams such as managing research spikes data dependencies and model iteration cycles.
  • Manage risks dependencies and remove impediments particularly those unique to AI/ML development such as data availability computational constraints and alignment between research and engineering teams.
  • Partner with global stakeholders Product Owners Data Scientists and ML Engineers to align priorities ensure the readiness of AI/ML features and enable the team to deliver highquality models and insights that align with business objectives.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and learning encouraging experimentation while ensuring teams have structured feedback loops to validate AI/ML solutions before full deployment.
  • Collaborate with peer Scrum Masters RTEs and technical leaders to share knowledge refine agile processes for AI/ML teams and drive agile maturity across the organization.
  • Foster transparency and trust by clearly communicating team progress challenges and successes to stakeholders ensuring alignment across business engineering and data science teams.

  • Strong understanding of agile frameworks such as Scrum and SAFe with the ability to coach and teach others on agile practices and frameworks.
  • Proven experience as a Scrum Master supporting AI Data Science or Machine Learning teams understanding the unique challenges these teams face in iterative development researchbased work and integrating models into production.
  • Understanding of AI/ML model lifecycle or ability to quickly learn and adapt to the technical environment of AIdriven product development.
  • Ability to navigate the complexity of crossfunctional collaboration and removing obstacles ensuring alignment while maintaining agility.
  • Strong facilitation skills to help AI and ML teams balance experimentation and delivery guiding them in adapting agile practices that support researchheavy workflows.
  • Servant leader who empowers teams to selforganize while ensuring alignment with organizational goals and stakeholder priorities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust and transparency with both the team and stakeholders at all levels to ensure alignment.
  • High emotional intelligence with the ability to build strong relationships empathize with team members and foster a supportive and inclusive team environment.
  • Ability to work in a global fastpaced environment with multiple product portfolios.

Basic Required Qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience leading teams as a Scrum Master including experience working with AI Data Science or MLfocused teams.
  • Familiarity with Agile challenges unique to AI/ML such as model experimentation cycles data dependencies and deployment hurdles.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Strong facilitation skills especially in researchdriven and datacentric teams
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and mitigate risks and impediments
  • Teamfirst servant leader mentality

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certified SAFe Scrum Master or SPC
  • Certified PSM or CSM
  • Experience working in a highly regulated AI environment.
