Job Description

The Workplace Experience Specialist oversees providing an exemplary and memorable arrival experience at Cushman & Wakefields New York City office. This position is split into three areas: reception/concierge hospitality and event management; and office administration.

Job Description:

  • Act as the face and brand ambassador of Cushman & Wakefield greeting and directing all guests as they arrive to our office.
  • Act as the first line of response for client/guest requests providing a memorable experience.
  • Regularly assess the space readiness of all areas.
  • Support concierge services including answering the reception phone directing calls to appropriate internal teams and coordinating catering for meetings.
  • Manage the office room booking system.
  • Coordinate with IT daily meeting room checks of all conference rooms ensuring everything is functional and ready for use. Log IT Service Desk tickets as appropriate.
  • Work closely with the NYC Operations Managers and Director to support the office operations. Meet regularly with the Operations Director regarding clients and events scheduled in the office.
  • Manage all client office and Employee Resource Group events.
  • Collaborate with Facilitates on hotel desk and office reservations for guests.
  • Manage the offices floor plans.
  • Issue building badges to new hires collect and deactivate leavers building badges.
  • Coordinating vendor COI approval with the office management team.
  • Coordinate ordering office supplies and business cards.
  • Direct all deliveries and vendors incoming and outgoing. Follow all vendor protocols in place communicate with the lobby security team to announce all expected guests and clients.
  • Support office invoicing and expenses reports.
  • Perform other related duties as or requested.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 4 years of concierge and or administrative support experience
  • Executive level professional support experience a plus
  • Exposure to event project and process management
  • Or any similar combination of education and experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to exercise discretion in dealing with confidential information and highly sensitive issues
  • Strong interpersonal skills and problemsolving ability
  • Proven record of excellent internal and external customer service
  • Excellent attendance and punctuality required
  • Ability to be in the office 5 days a week 8:00AM 5:00PM ET (onsite). Overtime required from time to time when client events are scheduled in the evening.

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement the geographic area in which the work will be performed market pay rates in that area and the candidates experience and qualifications.


The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.


The compensation for the position is: $33.66 $33.65
