FullTime Executive Housekeeper needed in Upper East Side!

Job:Executive Housekeeper

Location: Upper East Side New York NY 10028

Compensation: $35$40/hour (May be flexibledepending on experience) Paid on the books

Schedule: MondayFriday 9:00 AM 6:00 PM 45 hours/week)

Benefits:

A highprofile family on the Upper East Side is seeking a FullTime Executive Housekeeper to take the reins of maintaining their immaculate and meticulously organized 3000 sq. ft. residence. This is an opportunity to step into a fully staffed home that operates on mutual respect positivity and high standards.

With a private chef fulltime nanny and collaborative household team already in place the family is looking for someone who is just as dedicated detailoriented and professional. The current housekeeper of 9 years will be finishing her tenure with the clients in early June and will provide handson training to ensure a smooth transition.


The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a poised and dedicated Executive Housekeeper with a refined eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining a polished wellrun household. This individual brings extensive experience caring for highend homes and understands the nuances of fine garment care luxury finishes and meticulous organization.

They are discreet trustworthy and take initiative without the need for close supervision. Strong time management and a proactive mindset allow them to anticipate needs stay ahead of tasks and maintain an exceptionally high standard throughout the home. Comfort working alongside a fully staffed householdincluding a private chef and fulltime nannyis essential as is the ability to communicate professionally and respectfully within a positive and structured environment.


Responsibilities Include

  • Full deep cleaning and upkeep of a 3000 sq. ft. singlelevel luxury apartment

  • Expertlevel laundry and ironing including fine garments and delicate linens

  • Maintaining and restocking all household (nonfood) inventory informing the lady of the home when supplies are running low

  • Closet drawer and seasonal organization

  • Vendor and contractor coordination and supervision

  • Packing and unpacking for travel as needed

  • Travel to the Hamptons with the family in the summer

  • Identifying overlooked areas (i.e. behind shades seams in linens ceiling vents) and ensuring perfection in every detail

  • Working seamlessly alongside the nanny chef and other staff in a collaborative respectful environment

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of private household housekeeping experience

  • Strong English communication skills

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills

  • Strong references 23 required)

  • Background check required

  • Must be able to climb ladders and handle physically active tasks

  • Must be paid legally on the books

  • No driving required
